LED lights in Pakistan are evolving consistently and the technology used in LED lights in Pakistan is also advancing day by day. LED stands for light-emitting diode. LED lights are 90% brighter than incandescent light bulbs. Electrical current passes through a chip, which lightens the LEDs and visible light is emitted. The heat produced by LEDs is absorbed into the heat sink. The lifetime of LED Lights The lifetime of LEDs is measured differently from other light bulbs such as incandescent or compact fluorescent lighting (CFL). LED lights don’t burn, however, the brightness is affected with time. The lifetime of LED light is a predicted date after which the brightness of LED light decreases by 30%. Using LEDs as Lighting Source LEDs are fixed into bulbs and products for lighting. They are small in size, LEDs can be uniquely designed. LED bulbs may look like old light bulbs. Some LED light products have LEDs as a permanent light source. In some products, only the light source is replaceable instead of replacing the whole product. Heat of LEDs The expectations people set for the LED are too much. Same as any other lighting source LEDs also convert electricity to light in the process heat and light are produced. LED lights do heat up but the rate of heating up is too slow. LEDs mostly convert 95% of electricity into light, producing only a little amount of heat. Also, LEDs have a heat sink in them which drains the heat from the LED’s body to keep it safe. |
