Football childhood – career
From September 13, 1989, their first child, Thomas, was born into the German family of Claudia and Gerhard Müller. They lived in the village of Pehl in the Weilheim-Schongau district. When Thomas was still a boy, his father enrolled him and his younger brother, Simon, in a local sports school.
As children, the brothers used to play football, regardless of the season. Normally, the older brother would emerge victorious, while the younger would enjoy rare triumphs, aided by his brother. To this day, Simon sends encouraging text messages to Thomas before every Bayern Munich match.
Since beginning his football career in 1994, Thomas has established himself as one of Germany's most talented players. Under the guidance of his coach Peter Hackl, he became a vital player for the team due to his intelligence, persistence and desire to win.
