DVD region codes are a digital rights management technique designed to allow film distributors to control aspects of a release, including content, release date, and price, according to the region. The commercial DVD player specification requires that a player designed to be sold in a given place play only discs encoded for that region (plus those without any region code).

But many people do not realize this, and buy some of their favorite DVD discs or commemorative DVD during their travel to share with their family and friends, but found that there is no way to play on their DVD player, there is a being deceived feeling. Faced with this situation, how do we solve it?

The most direct way is to disable or reset the annoying region codes from your already bought DVDs for playback. But this way is a little complicated for people who are not computer geeks. Another way is using third-party software-Pavtube DVDAid, which can copy your wrong-region-code DVD discs onto your computer hard drive unlocking the region code protections, even can convert DVD to any format like MP4, MKV, AVI supported by many popular media player or devices. The main thing is that it can maintain the quality of the original disc. And if you are using Mac, you can download Pavtube DVDAid for Mac to help you.

Now follow the easy-to-use tutorial below to remove DVD region code:

1: Download Pavtube DVDAid and install it, and click the "Trial" to run.

2: Choose the "File" button to load the DVD disc. you can load the full disc or DVD ISO/IFO files.

3: Choose the format.

Click the drop-down box of format, where there are more than 200 kinds of formats, we can according to our own devices to select the appropriate format, you can also choose "Common Video" to choose format, like "MPEG-4 Movie(*.mp4)".

Tip: If you want to edit your DVD, you can click the "Edit" to DIY your DVD. And you can click the "Settings" to set the Size, bitrate, Frame Rate and so on.

4: The Last step, click the big "Convert" to start the conversion. Conversion finished, you can click "Open" button below to enjoy your disc on your computer.

If you want to play on your tablet or phone, you can transfer the video to your devices.
