Yet despite living through the horrific experience and its troubling aftermath, Kim added that she thinks the whole thing was meant to be, and she has come out a better person on the other side.

While part of it is having kids, Kim also runs her own businesses now, as opposed to signing away her name for licensing deals like she was before. She said it's '10 times more work,' but worth it - and something she learned from her husband.
